WSS is organising health camps specially targeted at women and children. Apart from examination of patients and distribution of medicines to them, these camps are used for awareness generation about health issues. Some of the issues on which awareness has been generated include:
- Importance of cleanliness for protection from diseases
- Information on the pre- and post-delivery precautions to be taken by the women
- Information on vaccination and benefits of mother milk
WSS has organised training for the mothers and children on complete healthcare. People are made aware of the importance of family planning and advised not to marry their daughters at a young age.
